E.C.E. Eligibility
Head Start: Children born December 3, 2006 through December 2, 2007
are eligible if they meet the income guidelines. A family of 4 members may make an annual salary of
$22,050. Head Start guidelines require 10% of the enrollment slots be reserved for children with profession-
ally diagnosed disabilities.
State Preschool (SPS): Children born December 3, 2006 through December 2, 2007 are eligible for this pre-
school if they meet the income guidelines. A family of 4 members may make an annual salary of $49,620. Priority is given to the lowest income and children who are referred by Child Protective Services.
Child Development Center (CDC): Children between 3 and 5 years of age are eligible for the center if their
parent(s) are in a training program and/or working and meet the income guidelines. A family of 4 members
may make an annual salary of $26,000. Priority is given to the lowest income and children who are referred by Child Protective Services.
All three preschool programs operate on a nondiscriminatory basis and give equal treatment and access to services without regard to race, color, sex, creed, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or ancestry.
