CAREpoint has been assisting families with enrollment for children in Medi-Cal and Healthy Families health programs. Medi-Cal is a program that pays for medically necessary health and mental health service for many low-income people. Unfortunately, not all families with low income or with health care needs can get Medi-Cal. Families can have Medi-Cal and private health insurance too.
