Special Education Parent Advisory Committee
(SEPAC)
Purpose
To empower a team of parents, teachers and staff to work cohesively for a better education of our children with exceptional needs by providing resources through support, training and community awareness programs.
Vision Statement
The vision of the DSUSD SEPAC is to encourage families to actively participate in becoming knowledgeable, empowered, and effective partners with community members and professionals in the development and implementation of learning experiences for students with exceptional needs.
Mission Statement
The mission of the DSUSD SEPAC is to actively involve parents/families and create partnerships with community members and professionals to ensure that every student develops the skills and knowledge to succeed as an independent life-long learner and productive citizen.
