OPERATIONS - are "housekeeping activities that are concerned with keeping the physical plant
open and ready to use."
The Maintenance and Operations department of Desert Sands Unified School District prides
itself on its dedication and professionalism. Every classification of Maintenance
and Operations team member (Locksmith, Administrative Assistant, Office Technician,
Sprinkler System Specialist, Pool Maintenance Worker, Groundskeeper, HVAC Mechanic,
Plumber, Painter, Carpenter, Energy Management Specialist, Electronic Repair Technician,
Electrician, Maintenance Worker, Metal Fabricator and Custodian) desire to positively
affect the students and staff that utilize DSUSD's facilities and by proxy, the
surrounding community.
