Calculated Greatness - DSUSD Mathletes Multiply the Fun!

DSUSD students added up to big success at the 29th Annual Math Field Day with the Rotary Club of Indio!

This event brought together middle school students from all three local school districts. Over 300 students participated in a day full of problem-solving, teamwork, and friendly competition. With support from Rotary clubs across the valley and Interact students from La Quinta, Shadow Hills, and Palm Desert high schools, the energy and collaboration were incredible.

From fast-paced mental math to strategic challenges and collaborative problem-solving, DSUSD students from Desert Ridge Academy, John Glenn, Palm Desert Charter, and La Quinta middle schools showcased their skills, teamwork, and love of learning. The event highlighted not only academic excellence, but also the joy of competition and camaraderie.

A special thank you to the Rotary Club of Indio for hosting this incredible event and providing students with an opportunity to shine.
