The goal of the SEPAC is to involve parents, families, and other interested individuals in advising the district administration and professional staff on the unique and individual requirements of students with exceptional needs

We invite you to join our Desert Sands SEPAC! We are an all-volunteer parent group that comprises parents/guardians, educators, and interested community members. We aim to work together to improve the student's learning experience in our district community and foster understanding, support, and respect for all children.
WHY GET INVOLVED
Become educated about the unique education process and understand how best to support your child.Ask questions and gain support from other parents of children with specialized learning needs. Support parent learning on general education and special education topics.
WHAT WE DO
- Provide training and workshops for parents with children in special education.
- Connect SEPAC to building and district-wide activities/events.
- Bridge the understanding and acceptance of all children into our school and community.
