Priority for preschool programs is based on Income guidelines and need. Early Childhood Education programs welcome all children and support the social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of a child in a safe and healthy environment. Early learning is based on solid developmentally appropriate practices that foster language and literacy in a play-based setting with research-based curriculum. School readiness, which includes social-emotional and academics is a main focus of the program. Children are provided a well-balanced nutritious meal at no cost. Parents are welcome as partners to support their children. Teaching staff is fully credentialed through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The support staff is well trained and knowledgeable of community resources, mental health, social services, health, and nutrition.
Children are accepted into the programs throughout the year based on availability.
