Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Plan
Plan del Programa de Oportunidades de Aprendizaje Ampliadas
Currently, all elementary and middles schools are creating amazing Expanded Learning programs. In addition, 13 elementary schools and 3 middle schools will continue serving K-8 ASES programs in partnership with Desert Recreation District, Boys and Girls Club or the YMCA.
All Expanded Learning Programs have both an academic, enrichment and social emotional learning components meant to align with and support the instructional day. All programs strive to support the five learning principles* in before/after school;

- Learning is Active
- Learning is Meaningful
- Learning is Collaborative
- Learning that Supports Mastery
- Learning that Expands Horizons
