Employee Complaint Procedures

How can I get answers to my concerns?

We are dedicated to serving you and assisting you in resolving your concerns in the best possible way. If you would like to file a Title IX Complaint or a Uniform Complaint, please visit the relevant webpage for further instructions. Otherwise, please proceed below with the following steps:

#1 - Contact your Immediate Supervisor

If you are having concerns with a colleague, often your immediate supervisor is the person that will be able to provide you with a prompt solution and the following steps are not necessary. (If your concern involves your supervisor, then go directly to the department’s director or the Resolution and Compliance Officer.)

Please allow for 48 weekday hours to receive a response.

#2 - Contact  your Department’s Director

If you have not received a response within 48 weekday hours or the issue has not been resolved following your supervisor’s response, notify the director of your department by email or phone.

#3 - Contact the District Resolution and Compliance Officer

If you have not received a response within 48 weekday hours or are unsatisfied with the response after contacting the appropriate person, please contact the District Resolution and Compliance office. Please provide detailed information, including the names and dates of the staff members you spoke with.

Formal Complaint Process

If you have gone through the informal process and find yourself at the point of needing to file a formal complaint, we are here to help.

You may review all board policies and administrative regulations to determine what type of complaint process you may want to file. Please review the documents and proceed with filing the appropriate form.
