Outstanding Individuals Recognition

Recognize Outstanding Service and Caring!

DSUSD SEPAC believes in recognizing exceptional dedication and care in working with students with disabilities. Now is the time to shine a spotlight on those who go above and beyond!


Do you know a DSUSD teacher (e,g., general, special education), staff member (e.g., paraeducator, office staff, bus driver), or administrator(e.g., school site or district)who has made a significant difference in your child's life? Nominate them for recognition!

Simply fill out the Google form linked below to nominate someone deserving of recognition. Nominees will be celebrated at the Outstanding Individual Recognition Night on May 9, 2024.

Seeking a volunteer to fill the role of Public Information Officer

  • The Public Information Officer is responsible for curating a positive image of the DSUSD Special Education Parent Advisory Committee. 
  • Promote an understanding of the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee and the need for special education of individuals with exceptional needs to the general public.
  • Maintain an updated list of special education classroom teachers and their sites (ensuring the County programs, Head Start, and Alternative Education are included) to disseminate flyers for SEPAC meetings and events.
  • Establish a committee of SEPAC members to help distribute flyers at all school campuses.
  • Coordinate with the special education office to disseminate flyers to NPS and Home-School students.
  • Establish contact in the district for communication regarding SEPAC Activities.
