The anticipated January 19 launch of the hybrid learning schedule will need to be reconsidered at a later date, as the current COVID-19 case rates exceed the threshold for in-person learning in the State of California.
Under current California public health guidelines, schools are not allowed to open until their county case rates are 7.0 or less (red tier). The current case rate per 100k residents is 107.2. We continue to monitor the legislative process for additional opportunities under the Governor's proposed Safe Schools for All Plan.
