Following the recent retirement announcement of Superintendent Scott Bailey, the Board of Education of the Desert Sands Unified School District is seeking a new Superintendent of Schools. The Board is asking for your engagement in the search process through a ThoughtExchange.
ThoughtExchange is an online discussion management platform. Participants will respond to an open-ended question. As responses are collected, participants will be able to denote which thoughts most resonate. As the Exchange progresses, student, staff, parent, and community member thoughts will be organically prioritized. All responses in the ThoughtExchange are completely anonymous and confidential.
The thoughts shared will be considered by the board during the hiring process. Your voice and opinion matter to us, and we want to hear what’s most important to you.
The Exchange will be open until January 30, 2022. It is anticipated that the new Superintendent will report on July 01, 2022.
