Kudos to Assistant Superintendent Kelly May-Vollmar, Ed.D., and Amelia Earhart Elementary School Principal Ann Morales for their recent professional recognitions.

Kelly oversees the educational services division including the technology department. The California IT in Education organization recently named her the Educational Leader of the Year. Kelly's support of the use of technology in classrooms is nationally recognized and she provides counsel and support to other districts. She led the way for our CSBA Golden Bell recognized Connect: One to World Initiative and continues to seek out state-of-the-art technology and applications for our students. Congratulations on the CITE award!

Ann leads one of the two International Baccalaureate elementary schools and looks at everything from a global perspective. She serves as a mentor to her teachers and has long been involved in ACSA, the Association of California School Administrators. She has been named Elementary School Principal of the Year. Well deserved, Ann!
