Congratulations to Summit High School for receiving the Friday Night Chapter of the Year Award for 2021-2022. This award represents the best chapter in Riverside County.

Mr. Parry Myers, SAP Counselor, led the Friday Night Live program last school year and he and his students collected the most blankets of any group across the entire county during the winter 2021 blanket drive. 

According to their website, Friday Night Live (FNL) builds partnerships for positive and healthy youth developments, which engage youth as active leaders and resources in their communities. Partnerships are with adults who provide guidance, peers who provide support, and community organizations that value youth and give them a role to play in making an impact within their communities. In this arena, young people recognize themselves as leaders and have the ability to be a positive force for change. FNL wants young people in the program to be problem free and fully prepared. Through active participation, youth have the opportunity to build skills to utilize in the future while developing healthy living and decision-making skills.
