The Staff Wellness Committee launched its inaugural wellness event, "Friday Paint Night," on September 13 at the Desert Sands Teachers Association office in La Quinta. The evening was hosted by Sue Ann Blach, Staff Wellness Committee Lead, alongside committee members Adriana Fernandez, Parry Myers, Susan Kadel, and Trina Gonzales-Alesi.

Participants enjoyed a creative session led by Paxton Pasillas, Art Instructor from La Quinta Middle School, who guided everyone in painting a Van Gogh-inspired pumpkin. The event was a delightful blend of artistry and relaxation, setting a positive tone for future staff wellness activities.
