AAUW (American Association of University Women) has been empowering women as individuals and as a community since 1881. Tech Trek Camp is an opportunity for current seventh grade girls to attend AAUW’s Tech Trek, as an exciting, weeklong residential, hands-on science, technology, engineering and math camp, during summer. 

DSUSD is excited for two of our Jefferson Middle 7th grade students who have been selected to attend this year's Summer Tech Trek Camps.

Yaretzi Saldivar, 7th grade, will be attending the Whittier College Tech Trek Camp from June 18 to June 24. And Kaydee Rodriguez, 7th grade, will be attending the UC San Diego Tech Trek Camp from June 25 to June 30.

Additionally, seventh grader Sasha Gomez from La Quinta Middle School STEM Academy was also selected to attend Tech Trek.
