Common Sense Media awards recognize schools for their hard work building a digitally safe community. In today's connected world, teaching students how to navigate technology responsibly, safely, and ethically, is an essential piece of our curriculum.

DSUSD utilizes the resources of Common Sense Media, a nationally recognized leader in digital citizenship education, to provide our staff, students, and families with tools and resources needed to thrive in the digital age.

Twenty-three schools earned the Common Sense Media School awards for 2024-2025. To earn this designation, schools must integrate digital citizenship lessons into their curriculum, engage families with resources and communication, and create a culture that promotes responsible technology use.
