DSUSD held its district science and engineering fair on January 29, and twenty-eight students qualified to advance to the county level. The Riverside County Science & Engineering Fair was held on March 1.
Riverside County awards gold, silver, and bronze winners, and these students were celebrated at Desert Sands' school board meeting on March 4.
We are excited to share that gold winners in grades 7-12 move on to the state level, and DSUSD has one student advancing! 11th grader James Riviere will represent Palm Desert High School and the entire Coachella Valley at the California State Science and Engineering Fair!
Congratulations to all of our scientists and engineers!
