Palm Desert High School Students Shine in City of Palm Desert Art & Essay Contest
Palm Desert High School students are making their mark! Under the guidance of English teacher Gary Wise, 11th CP English and 12th ERWC students showcased their creativity and storytelling skills in the City of Palm Desert Art & Essay Contest, writing about their favorite local buildings. This is the 12th year in a row his class has placed in this contest!
Their hard work paid off! On March 5th, the first-place winners and the Mayor’s Award recipient will be honored at a special ceremony at the UCR Palm Desert Center. All winners will also receive gift cards and prize ribbons in recognition of their outstanding work!
