La Quinta High School has been named a 2026 California Distinguished School, one of the state’s highest honors recognizing outstanding student achievement and innovative programs.

Palm Desert High School recently hosted a WASC Accrediting Commission for Schools mid-cycle accreditation visit, highlighting the school’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality educational programs.

Shadow Hills High School received the 2026 California Department of Education (CDE) Exemplary Dual Enrollment Award, recognizing its outstanding efforts to expand college access and opportunities for students.

Amistad High School and Summit High School were both named 2026 California Model Continuation Schools by the California Department of Education, honoring their exceptional work in supporting students on alternative pathways to graduation.

Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School has been designated a 2026 California Schools to Watch campus, a national recognition celebrating academic excellence, social equity, and developmental responsiveness in middle schools.
