Blackhawk Pride: LQHS Athletes Shine on the Field

It was another winning week for the La Quinta High School Blackhawks! On Thursday, October 23, NBC Palm Springs recognized football player Colton LaCrone and flag football player Emily Castillo as Athletes of the Week.

Each week, Toyota and Honda of the Desert team up with NBC Palm Springs to celebrate outstanding student athletes, awarding $250 scholarships for exceptional performance, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the field.

Colton and his teammates proudly accepted the honor during practice…another reminder of the Blackhawks’ strong spirit and dedication.

Emily and some of her teammates happily accepted the honor on a non-practice day. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR BLACKHAWKS!
