Dr. May-Vollmar Joins National Conversation on Future-Ready Learning
Superintendent Dr. Kelly May-Vollmar participated in the Accelerate EdTech Impact Summit 2025 at Stanford University, an influential gathering of national leaders in education, research, and technology.
Now in its third year, the Summit focused on “Future-Ready Learning by Design,” a theme that challenges educators to reimagine learning systems that prepare students not just for today’s world, but for the rapidly evolving world ahead. Participants explored how intentional design…across tools, relationships, and learning environments can equip students with the creativity, resilience, and sense of purpose they need to thrive amid technological and societal change.
Reflecting on the event, Dr. May-Vollmar said, “It was an honor to join over 350 researchers, educators, tech developers, learners, and funders last week at Standord’s third annual Accelerator for Learning Edtech Impact Summit. The summit was filled with innovative conversations around designing learning for every student in a world with rapidly changing technology.”
Her participation reinforces DSUSD’s ongoing commitment to bold, student-centered innovation and to ensuring every learner is prepared for what comes next.
