On February 3, 2025, Abraham Lincoln Elementary School welcomed Coachella Valley Firebirds players, AHL All-Stars, and retired NHL players who hosted a mini hockey clinic for our students! It was a fantastic blend of school spirit, sports, and learning from the pros—what an unforgettable day to be a Leopard!

Principal Craig Christensen shared, "I want to thank our Cheer Team and several classrooms for being outside to welcome the players. The energy was electric. The Firebirds left everything for our school! They donated the ring, nets, goalie gear, sticks, and balls."
