Gerald Ford Elementary Shines as a 2025 California Distinguished School
Gerald R. Ford Elementary School in Indian Wells has earned the prestigious title of a 2025 California Distinguished School, an honor awarded by the California Department of Education. This recognition places the school among 336 standout elementary schools across the state and 11 in Riverside County (the only school in the Coachella Valley!) for exceptional student achievement and efforts to close learning gaps.
