On September 2, DSUSD students participated at Riverside County Office of Education’s ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Indio Conference Center.
The talented Indio High School Wind Symphony welcomed guests with wonderful music, while our DSUSD Migrant Education students volunteered by greeting attendees and providing tours of the new facility. We are especially proud that our student Fernanda Prado, a senior from Shadow Hills High School, was honored with the opportunity to participate in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and cut the ribbon!
It was a wonderful experience for our students to represent DSUSD and the Migrant Education Program at this special event.
