On Friday, September 27, the Shadow Hills High School Choir took center stage with legendary rock band Foreigner, at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, joining in on the iconic hit “I Want to Know What Love Is.”
As part of this incredible collaboration, Foreigner is generously donating $500 to support the choir’s program. Local Shriners will also be selling Foreigner’s greatest hits CD at the event, with proceeds benefiting both the Grammy Foundation, which funds high school music programs across North America and the Shriners Children’s Hospitals.
For our students, this is more than just a performance….it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share the stage with a legendary band and create memories that will last forever.
The performance made headlines across the valley!
Palm Springs Life Magazine spotlighted the concert, which also marked Foreigner frontman Kelly Hansen’s farewell show. Read article here.
