During the March 17 Board of Education meeting, we proudly celebrated outstanding student-athletes who continue to excel both in competition and in the classroom.
We were honored to welcome Dr. Steve Hickman, Coordinator of Instructional Services with the Riverside County Office of Education, who presented the prestigious RCOE Winter Academic Athletic Team Award, recognizing the team with the highest GPA among high schools across the county.
This season’s honor was awarded to the Palm Desert High School Girls Basketball Team, who achieved an incredible 4.37 GPA, a true testament to their dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence both on and off the court.
