Ronald Reagan Elementary School has been named a 2026 National Gold Star School by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), a national recognition honoring schools that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and dedication to student success.
Only a select number of schools nationwide receive this honor each year, placing Reagan Elementary among an elite group recognized for excellence in elementary or middle-level education.
“This recognition is a reflection of the incredible work of our teachers, staff, students, and families,” said Mark Baldwin, principal of Reagan Elementary. “We are proud to create a learning environment where every child is supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed.”
National Gold Star Schools are selected based on evidence their achievements based on NAESP’s framework of the Three Pillars of the Principalship:
Established Culture: Shared values, family engagement, and well-being.
Empowered People: Collaborative teaching, distributed leadership, and holistic support.
Optimal Systems: Effective use of talent and resources, district support, and strategic focus.
The National Gold Star Schools program highlights schools that serve as models for excellence and continuous improvement across the nation.
