Striking up the fun! A staff wellness night full of strikes, spares, and flair!
On Friday, April 3, the DSUSD Staff Wellness Committee hosted an unforgettable Bowling Night at Fantasy Springs, where DSUSD staff came ready to roll! With 14 lanes filled, the energy was electric as teams bowled their way to victory, competing for trophies including High Rollers (top score), Best Dressed, and Most Participants.
Creativity was right up our alley, with standout teams like Super Smash Bowlers, Livin’ on a Spare, Bowling Stones, SpEd Strikers, Silent Strikers (our stealthy librarians), The Spare Hares, Shell Shocked Strikers, Gutter Queens, and Strike Squad showing up in style with themed costumes and coordinated gear.

Most Participants: Special Education teams from ATLAS and Desert Ridge Academy
Best Dressed: Shell Shocked Strikers from Roosevelt Elementary
High Rollers: LQHS Blackhawks, with an impressive average score of 143.8 per bowler!
It was truly a ball of a night—filled with laughter, connection, and just the right amount of friendly competition. Events like these remind us that when we support staff wellness, we’re always rolling in the right direction!
