La Quinta High School ninth grader Gabrielle Coloma has earned an extraordinary honor: her artwork, originally displayed at the CISC Symposium, has been selected for the cover of the 2026-2027 California County Superintendents Directory!
Along with having her artwork featured on the statewide publication, Gabrielle’s artist statement will appear on the back cover, giving educational leaders across California a chance to learn more about the inspiration behind her piece. She will also receive an honorarium in recognition of her outstanding achievement.
