Students from Abraham Lincoln Elementary School enjoy pony rides at Thomas Mountain.

DSUSD Teacher Erika Winkle invited her class to visit and experience pony rides in our local mountains. Ms. Winkle is the founder of 2 Styles Rescue nonprofit, and felt a visit to the mini horse rescue would be an enriching experience for her students. For some, it was also their first time horseback riding! The organization will provide additional opportunities for students to visit the horse ranch without any cost to families.
