Say Something Anonymous Reporting System is a new program in DSUSD designed to enhance the safety and well-being of our school community. Say Something empowers students to report concerns about their safety and the safety of others, anonymously.
Whether it is about bullying, threats, or someone who may need mental health support, students can make their voices heard without fear of retaliation. Say Something replaces the previous PSST World anonymous reporting tool.
The three goals of the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System are to teach students how to:
- Recognize warning signs and threats of someone who may be at-risk of hurting themselves or others.
- Act immediately! When you see or hear something concerning, don’t wait. Talk to a trusted adult or reports can be made anonymously through the Say Something QR code, app, or dedicated hotline found on the back of student lanyards, chromebooks, and posters, along with school and district websites.
- Grow a community of Upstanders who look out for one another.
By fostering a culture of looking out for one another, we strengthen our community and create a safer environment for learning and growth.
