DSUSD Teacher Residency at Alder GSE
Desert Sands is proud to announce a teacher residency program in partnership with Alder Graduate School of Education.
In this program you will:
- Earn your teaching credential and Master’s Degree in one year.
- Begin taking graduate classes in June of 2026.
- Apprentice four days a week next school year with an expert, mentor teacher at your residency school.
- Spend the year learning with a cohort of your peers.
- Receive priority consideration for a full-time position upon completion of the program.
- Engage in critical conversations about culturally responsive instruction.
- Earn a ~$41,000 stipend.
