Meetings shall be held monthly during the school year or more or less often as needed.
The Health Insurance Committee is staffed with four certificated and four classified representatives, two retiree representatives and four management representatives (including the Director of Risk Management).
Functions of the committee include discussing the district' s current health insurance programs and evaluating new programs. It serves as an advisory committee to provide information to the employee groups and reviews current Federal and State legislative requirements regarding employee health insurance to insure the district is in compliance.
