Desert Sands Unified School District is proud to be a safe-school environment that allows all students equal access and opportunities. Board Policy 5145.3(a) clearly documents that this policy applies to "all acts related to school activity or to school attendance occurring within a district school." It is the policy of Desert Sands Unified School District to always put the safety, security, and education of the students in our care at the very forefront of every action we take or decision we make. In keeping within the law, DSUSD continues to operate under the board policies that protect our students from discrimination and harassment. FERPA requires that we maintain the confidentiality of all personally identifiable information in education records related to students.
