Start With Hello Week is this Sept. 20–24, 2021. Start With Hello Week brings attention to social isolation and empowers young people to create a culture of inclusion and connectedness within their school, and community.

This program teaches students in grades K - 12 to help their peers in a fun and meaningful way. They take small but powerful actions to promote inclusion and to support students who are showing signs of loneliness or social isolation.

This year 23 DSUSD schools will be participating in Start With Hello Week. Each school has different dress up days, and planned activities for the entire week.
