Let’s be honest, Rubik’s Cubes aren’t exactly the easiest toys to figure out. Regular people can take up to hours, days, maybe even weeks to solve one. However, pretty cool kids like those at James Monroe can solve them in seconds. Yes, seconds. Recently, these Monroe students competed in a little competition where they came out in first place! And from those students, two of them, Zain Riaz and Jordan McDaniel, were selected to be brought out during the DSEF Annual Gala and do what they do best, solve Rubik’s Cubes. The audience was even able to pay $20 and guess a time in which they would solve the cube for a chance to win a prize.
Not only did they each solve their cube in under a minute, they provided some pretty awesome entertainment to those in attendance.
So, thank you to the entire Rubik’s Cube team at James Monroe, and especially a big thank you to their instructor, Mr. Manderfeld!
