DSUSD would like to give the biggest thank you to Guy Fieri and the Guy Fieri Foundation for not only helping feed our heroes today, but also for working with the LQHS culinary students to do so. The Packhouse at Aziz Farms was filled with active military, veterans, first responders, and our local heroes as well. To thank them for their sacrifice to our country they were invited to receive an unforgettable meal by the LQHS culinary students, assisted by the Guy Fieri Foundation… and Guy Fieri himself.

Executive Director of the Guy Fieri Foundation, Brian Daly, said this, “I cannot say enough about the students and staff at the high school and how much we appreciate them all and the district and its team of administrators for allowing us to work with them.  We get just as much out of working and teaching students as they get from us. We thank all of you and the entire team of volunteers that showed up and really participated in making it a great day for the veterans, active military, first responders and their families.  It was a great day!  I look forward to the opportunity to possibly work together again in the future and it would be our honor!”

Again, we thank everyone involved in this event for making it so amazing and helping honor our heroes!
