In June our own DSUSD Director of Community Engagement and Educational Foundation Sean Webb was recognized by the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce as their 2022 Volunteer of the Year. As Chamber CEO Emily Falappino told the guests at the award ceremony: 

This person is someone we recognize throughout the community who is regularly serving. I see this individual at nearly every event I attend. This person always seems to be giving to the community and contributing in some way shape or form.  The spirit of volunteerism is critical to community. And, we need volunteers like this individual to inspire us all to get involved and do good.

This year’s volunteer of the year award goes to… Sean Webb of Desert Sands Unified School District.
