Choosing Healthcare
Choosing a medical plan is a very personal decision. The needs of each family may be different and unique. If you need help in choosing the medical plan that best meets yours and your family’s needs, the My Plan Choices resource tool is available. This resource is easy to use, free, requires no commitment, and provides confidential result.
Qualifying Life Events for Health Insurance
Are you getting married? Expecting a baby? Getting a divorce? You have 30 days from the date of marriage, birth, or divorce to add or term dependent(s). You will need to provide a copy of the marriage certificate, 1st page of your 1040, birth certificate, and/or final divorce papers, along with completion of our DSUSD online enrollment through Optavise. If an event has occurred that may affect you or your dependent’s benefits and you are unsure if it meets the requirements for a qualifying event, please reach out to your benefits team for clarification within 30 days of the event.

CSEA MetLife Term Life Insurance
Attention New Classified Benefit Eligible Employees (4+ hour/day) - Remember to complete your MetLife Term Life Insurance paperwork! There is no cost to the employee. Click on the “Voluntary and District Paid Plans” section below for enrollment forms.
