Monroe Mustangs Fund Third Clean Water Well

Three years = three wells! During the past three schools years (2019-2020, 2018-2019, 2017-2018) the fifth graders at James Monroe Elementary School have raised money to help provide clean water wells to some of the most poverty stricken areas in the world.

This past year the well was built at the Hope School in New Delhi, India. Marlo, the director of the Hope School, made banners and stickers for the well and the jerry cans used to transport family water. Fundraising for the School to School Water Project has resumed for this year. To learn more, visit Generosity.org.

Word of the project has spread and Xavier College Prep and a Los Angeles area high school are already working with Nathan Manderfeld and his students.
