A very special thank you to the Indio Sunrise Rotary Club!

They do so many wonderful things for our schools but this year they have added a new way to embrace the needs of our students. The R.I.C.K. Teddy Bear Project (Rotary Indio Cares for Kids) is providing teddy bears to elementary and middle school students throughout Indio schools to help combat negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic and other community challenges. The bears go to high-risk children, identified primarily from their school counselor and principal.

Among the first teddy bears to find new homes were those given to children who recently lost their homes due to a fire in Indio.
