We are pleased to introduce, Tanner Boillot, as the new Prevention and Intervention Psychologist.

Ms. Boillot, whose name rhymes with "pollo", is excited to return to where she began her education career as School Psychologist Intern for Desert Sands over a decade ago. In 2012, she moved to Northern California where she served districts as a school psychologist for 11 years.

Ms. Boillot is a graduate of Pepperdine University where she majored in criminal justice and played division one basketball. She earned a teaching credential from National University and served as a secondary history teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Ms. Boillot decided she wanted to concentrate on helping students with special challenges and needs, so she earned a Masters degree in counseling with a concentration in school psychology from Cal State University Northridge. A lifelong learner, she is currently working on completing a certificate program in applied behavior analysis to further her understanding of students with behavior concerns.

Tanner has an eight-year-old son named Dashiel, and she shares many hobbies and interests with him. Those include; traveling, boogie boarding, hiking, playing guitar, and songwriting.

A fun fact: Ms. Boillot played professional basketball for a season in Geneva, Switzerland.

Welcome back to DSUSD, Ms. Boillot (pronounced Boyo)!
