In compliance with school start time legislation, school start times for middle and high schools will be modified for the upcoming school year.
Specifically, Senate Bill 328, which was signed into law in 2019 requires that:
"(1) The schoolday for high schools, including high schools operated as charter schools, shall begin no earlier than 8:30 a.m.
(2) The schoolday for middle schools, including middle schools operated as charter schools, shall begin no earlier than 8:00 a.m.
SB 328 shall be implemented by middle schools and high schools no later than July 1, 2022."
Specific school start times are being communicated directly to parents by their school administrators.
