Each year CIF Southern Section and Ford Motor Company recognize one female and one male senior athlete. This year's athletes come from Indio, Palm Desert, and La Quinta High Schools. These students have been able to maintain a 3.5 unweighted GPA, lettered in one varsity sport, and participate in extracurricular activities throughout their high school careers.
