Shadow Hills Girls XC team attend State Cross Country Championships. The 5K State Meet was held in Fresno, CA on November 25th. "Shadow Hills girls finish 14th in Division 3 State, 5th among all CIF southern section teams" shared Coach Richie DeTamble. Some amazing facts include it being the team's second appearance at the CIF Meet. Coach DeTamble also shared all 7 girls ran their personal best times. This years team average was 19:54, which is 13 seconds better than last year 20:07. 

The teams scores include, Julia Fernandez, finishing in 19:04, placing 34th. Miranda Salcedo finishing in 56th (19:23) and Ruby Avila placing 71st (19:35). Also, Sophia Ramirez (125th, 20:33), Kimmy Mills (141st, 20:49), Jaelyn McDermott (145th, 20:52) and Arianna Lupian (149th, 20:56) all finishing with personal best times.
