Our team is ecstatic to introduce our new student board members for 2023-2024.

Valerie Maciel or also known as “Val”, is a senior at Amistad High School. She has also attended Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Indio High School at DSUSD. Highlights of her educational experience include; attending her middle school broadcasting class at Thomas Jefferson Middle and being part of ASB for Amistad High. Ms. Maciel has taken an interest in makeup, fashion and wishes to travel after high school.

Jaqueline “Yritzi” Gonzalez or also known as “Ritz” is a senior and attends Palm Desert High School. Jaqueline has had many excellent educational experiences but her top favorites would be; taking part in Math Field day, being selected student of the month, being involved in ASB for 4 years and being selected Executive President her senior year in high school. Hobbies and interests of Ms. Gonzalez includes listening to music, playing soccer, dancing, traveling and art. She also has volunteer experience in Summer Link Crew and has completed 300 hours of community service through the National Charity League. 

Kylie Ragland is a senior at Shadow Hills High School who has also attended Amelia Earhart Elementary and Desert Ridge Academy in DSUSD. Some Educational highlights of her’s include taking AP and Dual enrollment courses at Shadow Hills High. Ms. Ragland also has leadership experiences in ASB and the school's Link Program. An interesting fact about Kylie is that she is a Starbucks barista.
