On May 13, DSUSD hosted the Los Angeles Regional BotBall Tournament.

Sixteen teams from across southern California participated. DSUSD was well represented by teams from John Glenn, La Quinta, and Palm Desert Charter middle schools, as well as La Quinta and Shadow Hills high schools.

After only two months of practice, LQHS took first place in the double elimination portion of the tournament. CONGRATULATIONS, BLACKHAWKS!

Junior BotBall teams also attended to work on team challenges with their robots. Their mission was to code their robots to complete the challenges and earn a button for each successful mission.
