Riverside County Office of Education invited elementary and middle school students to submit artworks that were Día de Los Muertos themed.
The contest consisted of five age categories, Pre-K -Kindergarten, 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th and 7th-8th. Students placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive Place Plaques. Those who placed with Honorable Mention will receive Certificates.

Seven of our DSUSD students placed between 1st- 3rd place in all 5 categories. 19 of our students received Honorable Mentions for their outstanding artwork.
